WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling (aka Collagen Induction Therapy) is a natural, holistic technique that originated in China.   It is a non-surgical and minimally-invasive option to build collagen, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and even skin tone. It is the #1 non-toxic alternative to fillers and injections and is rapidly gaining popularity among celebrities and skin-care professionals.  A sterile applicator tip containing 12 very fine, short needles is attached to an automated pen which glides over the skin creating little micro-channels.  This increases collagen and elastin production and allows for the absorption of your skin-care products up to 3000%!  Hyaluronic Acid and a custom combination of Chinese Herbal Therapies and Apple Stem Cells are applied during the treatment to further enhance skin rejuvenation during the absorption phase.  Specially crafted TCM serums means faster result with a better experience.  The microneedling, or nanoneedling, treatment is followed by a 30 minute Celluma LED Red Light Therapy session which aims to further illuminate skin, boost collagen, even skin tone, and speed up the healing process.  Results continue to improve up to six months after the last treatment.  Best results are seen with at least 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.  It's a safe alternative to common resurfacing tools like lasers with fewer side-effects and less downtime.

WHAT IS NANONEEDLING

Nanoneedling (also known as Nano Infusion Therapy) is an innovative, non-invasive transdermal serum delivery system.  Both the Nano and microneedling treatments use a pen-like device that oscillates a tip up and down to stimulate a skin reaction. They both induce cell turnover, serum infusion and provoke the healing process that results in skin transformation.  Nanoneedling uses the same type of oscillating motion to treat the skin but the cartridge encompasses 81 silicone tips. Nanoneedling does not puncture the skin and is used in specific cases, or in the more sensitive eye areas to help significantly reduce fine lines and wrinkles with each treatment.  These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. Nanoneedling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper .15 mm of the skin.  The benefits of a nanoneedling treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation and an immediate glow with no downtime. This treatment can be done multiple times a week to exfoliate the skin.  Nanoneedling is an excellent option for patients with extra sensitive skin, or those who cannot fit the recovery time required by microneedling into their schedules.

If you are concerned about fine lines & wrinkles, swelling, or sagging skin, then nanoneedling is for you. If your skin care concerns include deep wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks or deep acne scars, than microneedling would be the treatment for that.
